Please be aware, that at their last meeting, the Governing Board made the decision to lift all Covid-19 restrictions at St. Thomas. This means that choir - according to each one's comfort level – may resume singing in worship and the congregation may resume singing the hymns with full verses.
Psalm 98:1 in part tells us, “Sing to the
Lord a new song”. And we shall!
Of course, the Governing Board will closely monitor the COVID-19 situation and will report any changes. We do recognize that the journey for everyone is not the same. That is perfectly alright. Together, we will continue to work toward new ways to be
the Church for everyone. There may be some bumps along the road, but always with the congregation’s well-being paramount.
Please note, we are still using only the door at the top of the ramp for entering the building; the door off the parking lot may now be used to exit the building. This is not because of Covid-19, but because we do not have enough volunteers to monitor both doors on a Sunday morning.
A few other items to note for the remainder of the summer:
- We will continue to only print a small number of bulletins.
- The balcony will remain closed through the summer.
- Bibles will be returned to the pews in the fall.
If you have questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to the church office, a member of Governing Board, or myself.
